Last night I gave Daniel some Chicken Noodle baby food. Even though we make our own baby food, I'm still not sure how I feel about pureeing meat, so I picked up a Gerber jar. The meats must have an entirely different taste/texture than fruits and veggies because he was making faces that I have never seen before! All in all, I would say that he likes it.
We've been pretty busy this weekend. On Friday, Daniel spent a few minutes with Brian before he had to go to work. Then we left for Grandma and Grandpa's. We walked to Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Ken's where Daniel got to sit in the tractor, 4-wheeler, and Land Pride. Yesterday we went back to Aunt Jeanne's to help with her computer, it didn't go as planned; but Daniel played some pool and Uncle Ken showed off his guitar-playing skills (Daniel was highly impressed).

Daniel is so cute!! I know what you mean with the meat thing, it just seems gross. Do you have a food mill? It might not be as disgusting as pureying the meat. I have a "Munchkin" one, it's looks like it should work well and is inexpensive. It's just plastic and it should fit easily in a diaper bag for 'on the go' food grinding! If he's ready for the amount of texture it makes, it might work good for meat and really anything else. I now have hope that Jacob will use his someday. He's lovin' rice cereal and oatmeal and had carrots yesterday and loved them! Finally!
The boat has not left our driveway, boo!! Between crappy weekends and Jacob getting sick, yes again, we haven't been able to even clean it. Jacob was up all night, he had a temp of 101.5 this am and a gross nose. I so tierd of sick baby.
Anyway I don't think we'll be up until Memorial Day weekend, but i let you know if we change our minds!
Chicken Noodle Soup? Right after reading that I thought to myself "Oh no what happened to the chicken's"? Thanks for writing a bit with the post or we would have had to tell Riley and he would not have been happy. Smiles!
