About Daniel...
Daniel had his 6 month check-up yesterday...and he was so excited to hear that the doctor's office has changed their immunization program (thank you, beauracracy) which meant no shots for Daniel yesterday. Fortunately, it was a beautiful day here, so after his appointment we parked downtown, broke out the stroller and walked around. It also included a stop at the Health Department to make an appointment for shots.
He weighs 20 lbs. 2 oz., is 27" long and his little peanut head is 17" around. I really enjoy his little head...and we have gotten many comments on how perfectly round it is. Unfortunately, they don't make hats for perfectly round heads. Since his little dome goes more up than out, finding a decent summer hat for him has so far turned up nothing other than a few good laughs.
His second tooth snuck up on us, but has popped through. I think he may be getting his top teeth soon, but those are harder to see. I may have to use the trick Joyce told me she used on her kids: Run a spoon along their gums, and if you hear a clink...there's a tooth!

Is there anything more special then a first baby tooth? I love that part of babies, well I really just love all parts of babies.
