A New Year...

So far we have had a fantastic new year! We went to Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Ken's last night for a card party that turned into....well, just a party (a very fun party). This afternoon, Daniel and I made the trip to Dollar Settlement (about 30 minutes from here..) to visit with Kelly and her two daughters (and the rest of Kelly's family...). The Johnson's are visiting from Oregon for the week and it was nice to catch up for the afternoon. I made the same trip out last year about this time, and if someone would have told me then that I would be bringing my son out for this year's visit I would have fallen over laughing! It's funny how things can change in just a year. Brian spent the afternoon enjoying some much needed alone time (i.e. playing DorkCraft with his dad and brother)...I'm told that he had a great time!
