Tonight we went to Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Ken's for dinner, and of course, had a wonderful time! Daniel got to sit at a little desk just his size and color. Surprisingly, it kept his attention and he sat still (more or less) for quite awhile!

Christmas Morning
We had a fantastic Christmas! Christmas eve we spent the evening with the Rose's at the Bruce Township hall where Daniel managed to eat his weight in sugar, specifically buckeyes! In the morning we headed out to the Jarvies' for the first Christmas in their new house. It was wonderful! Daniel got so many toys we had to rearrange our living room when we got home. Santa brought Daniel a big climber and slide and we've been having lots of fun with that! He can climb up and slide down all by himself now! I got a new flip video which offers a much easier way to upload and share videos, so I probably won't put anymore on the blog. If you'd like to subscribe to the Bug channel, send me your email address. There are more pictures to come - Uncle Mike and Aunt Jeanne were nice enough to take pictures so we didn't have to worry about it. I have yet to see Mike's pictures, but we'll share them once we have them!

O' Christmas Tree
Meet Mini-Brian!
If I wasn't so lazy I would find and scan pictures of Brian when he was a baby to prove my point. (Maybe Grandma Vicky or Grandpa Dan can help us out sometime.) Daniel looks remarkably like his dad in these pictures! Ironically, I think it's the hair - hair and cheeks, actually. Also, he's not pretending to be an orphan in Oliver Twist ("Please sir, may I have some more?"), he is showing Penny that he scraped every bit of icing off his plate and there is nothing for her! Aunt Jeanne sent over some delicious cinnamon bread with icing to have as a snack tonight.

Breakfast with Santa
So, after his second run-in with some of Santa's stand-ins it's pretty clear that Daniel does not like Santa. But to be fair, this Santa has crazy eyes - or possibly a van full of candy in the parking lot if you help him look for his lost puppy. Needless to say, I didn't push the issue with Bug. Creepy Santa's aside, Daniel enjoyed breakfast and getting to play with Ryan and Owen.
Video Killed the Radio Star?
Facebook has definitely killed - at the very least, seriously maimed Daniel's blog, and school finished off what was left over! At any rate, these are mostly for Grandpa so that he can sit on his own computer and look at Bug. We are anxiously awaiting Santa here! Daniel had his 15 month check up today. He is 31 3/4" tall and almost 27 lbs, and other than a little excema he is a healthy boy. We also welcomed our first nephew and Daniel's first cousin - little Reegan. Hopefully we'll be able to get out to see him sooner rather than later, but I can tell you, from what I have seen in pictures he is quite cute!
