New Tricks!

I have never been so disgusted, so proud, and so entertained all at the same time! Well, I suppose I can't say I was really grossed out because he had done it once already! So I grabbed the camera and let him do it again!

Playing in the Leaves

Last week we raked a few leaves at Grandma's...Daniel plays in piles of leaves like he plays in the bathtub!

Rusty Zipper Camp

A couple weeks ago we went to Family Weekend at the Rusty Zipper Camp - the hunting camp that great Uncle Mike belongs to. Daniel had so much fun he is asking Santa for a camp just like!

Pumpkin Patch

Sunday we went to the pumpkin patch with the Jarvie's and Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Ken. It was a great afternoon, and I think Daniel had a lot of fun, too. Brian would have had more fun if I hadn't picked out the biggest pumpkin I could find! As a side note, Daniel is wearing a sweater I knitted for him!

Fingerpainting!

..Saturday we enjoyed a quiet day at home, and decided to do a little fingerpainting before bathtime! Fun was had by all except the point where Danie confused red paint for ketchup...Hooray for non-toxic paint!

Walking!

It's definitely been awhile since we updated the blog! I started school at the end of August, Brian's work schedule changed, and Daniel is...busy! The biggest news is that he is walking! He started by taking a couple steps, then a few days later he would take a few more steps...after a few weeks of this he is walking around the house pretty well, and will walk even more if we hold his hand! He's also learned to blow kisses!

Daniel started daycare last month. He goes once a week to play with his friends and seems to really like it. The last couple weeks he has not liked being dropped off, but he doesn't want to leave when I go back to pick him up so I assume he is having fun!

Daniel's 12 month check up was a few weeks ago - he weighed 26lbs and was 31 1/4" long! Not too shabby! He was 7lbs 13oz and 20" long when he was born! He is also starting to be quite the talker. He says, "Dog" (sometimes Penny is "No"), "Dada", "Mama", "On", "Off", and "Daine" (Erin's boyfriend for those who don't know...). He knows what sounds cows and pigs make...and sometimes knows the sounds chickens and turkeys make!
